Psyched in Stilettos

It wasn't all that long ago that Our Own Megan Gale quit her seven year relationship modelling for David Jones in order to be Wonder Woman (well, she didn't actually say that, but I think we can all read between the lines). Then Wonder Woman dropped off the radar... and what's Megan been up to lately, anyway? Well, never fear, according to Wikipedia: "In August 2008... director George Miller as well as actress Megan Gale confirmed that the film was still on, with a plan to resume filming in 2009." Oh, phew. We still get to see Megan in red boots.

The Psyched In Stilettos angle here, of course, is that Wonder Woman, who sprung from a 1940s comic book, is a fantastically enchanted character; a mix of the past (drawn from the Amazons of Greek mythology), the future (among the Amazons she is known as 'Princess Diana' - hmm) and the spiritual world (named after the moon goddess, Diana). One can only presume that her creator, William Moulton Marston, was doing a whole lot of subconscious channelling when he brought this powerful enchantress into being... either that or he was smoking the ol' wacky tobaccy.
