Everybody has a ghost story, or knows of a house that's said to be haunted. And thanks to Hollywood films, we've all got a pretty good idea of what a 'ghost' is... or looks like. But did you know there's many different types of ghosts - everything from poltergeists, orbs and animals to 'non-interatives' and 'extra-celestials'? I was fascinated to stumble across this web page detailing no less than 12 ghost 'types', plus such curious tidbits as...
* Ghosts are capable of feeling emotions such as love, joy, anger, guilt and regret
* Are such manifestations are 'ghosts' at all, or merely a reflection of a moment in time that has somehow been 'inscribed' or 'imprinted' into the environment?
* Only about a dozen really superb full body manifestation photos are in existence
* Ships, trains, automobiles and aircraft can be ghosts, too!
And while on the topic of ghosts and weird stuff, I get my weekly paranormal fix from Stephen Wagner's About.com newsletters... and gee whiz some of those 'true tales' leave me feeling really, really deliciously scared!!
