Psyched in Stilettos

A girlfriend (Aries) has been telling me (Cancer) for years that I'm an awful driver, which naturally I am the first to deny. But now I can't, because AAMI has revealed some fascinating statistics on road accidents according to star signs. And guess what? Cancerians and Aquarians are more likely to crash their car than drivers born under any other sign, while Aries drivers claim the lowest insurance bills. Sigh.

In its latest Crash Index, AAMI reviewed more than 212,000 national insurance claims over the 2007 Zodiac year, revealing lots of fascinating tidbits,
such as the fact that Libran women are least likely to crash their cars, but when they do, they cause the most $$ damage. As for the blokes, Capricorn males have the highest claims incidence rate and are most likely to crash their cars compared to male Virgos, who are least likely to claim for crash-related damage.

All this talk about cars reminds me of the back section of Annette Noontil's fabulous book The Body Is The Barometer of the Soul, which contains all the parts of a car and how they relate to your emotions... such as someone hitting the rear of your car (a need to go forward and change yourself) or a flat battery (need to rejeuvenate yourself with new plans). Which reminds me, my breaks have been making the weirdest noises. Better go (gulp) look them up... oh yeah, and book a mechanic.
