April 4, 2009: Renowned cosmic girl Miss Psychette (aka Rebecca Dettman) has opened Australia’s first ‘spiritual spa’, a chic metropolitan space designed for a single purpose: psychic channelling in a glamorous setting.
“I’ll be serving up past lives alongside peach bellinis,” winks Miss Psychette, who describes the new space for her company, Psyched In Stilettos, as “Calvin Klein minimalism meets Estée Lauder salon – think white sofas, white roses, wooden floorboards and lots of beautiful natural light.”
Miss Psychette has conducted psychic work for Hamish & Andy, the Austereo Network and top-ranking corporate executives, and been published by NINEMSN, New Woman magazine and more. Her website and weekly ‘Cosmic Gossip’ newsletters combine spiritual advice, celebrity buzz, horoscopes and extras to an international following.
“This winter I’m holding five exciting new workshops: Crossing Over… with Miss Psychette, Discover Your Psychic Powers, Meet Your Angels And Spirit Guides, Discover Your Past Lives and Mind and Body Healing Freedom – all with mocktails, nibbles and goody bags,” says Miss Psychette. “Dress code? Stilettos, of course!”
Miss Psychette conducts her readings in person, on the phone or via Skype for her US, UK, NZ and Australian-based clientele, and provides ‘mini readings’ at hens nights and social functions. Her Psyched In Stilettos company also produces a psychic jewellery line, glamorous spell kits and Magic Essences oils.
“As the world becomes increasingly metrospiritual, my job is to help your average person discover their intuition and soul purpose by using a fresh, modern, cutting-edge approach,” says Miss Psychette. “I’m demystifying and modernising this age-old profession by putting the ‘chic’ in psy-chic!”
